Ray Wolf Walker is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, and was born and raised in
Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He has been
creating and designing custom jewelry, along with the repairing of jewelry, for thirty years. As a professional jeweler,
Wolf has traveled extensively through out this country, working with the noble metals; Gold, Platinum, Palladium,
Sterling Silver, etc. In addition to Wolf
Walker's professional metal skills, he is experienced at lapidary, stone setting of faceted stones (inlay, gypsy, channel etc.)
wax carving, casting, and the repair of jewelry, etc. Wolf is a self-taught
"artist" jeweler who holds numerous awards for his creations, and the collectors of his fine jewelry range from leaders of sovereign
states to the more important collector which is the person whom is in contact with Wolf, either in person, at his studio/ shop, phone, email, or a jewelry event.
The rich teachings and traditions, of not only the Cherokee culture, but as a whole, the Native American Culture, all surrounded Wolf as a boy, remains at the heart and center of
his spirituality today.
